Schwetzinger Brauhaus zum Ritter in Schwetzingen

Idyllically located on Schlossplatz, exactly opposite the castle. Attentive staff. Cozy ambience. The portions are large, you get full well. I am in Schwetzingen every year at the Whiskey Fair (Whiskey Spring) and a visit to the Schwetzinger Brauhaus for lunch is then a must because of the delicious food.

we were there in September and had reservations online. Very nice service, everything Corona considered, tables were according to regulations, everything was great. the salad with chanterelles, very tasty with the dressing, the master cut to the point, 1A. Despite the full outdoor area, short waiting times and very friendly service. Be careful with the pomegranate wheat, do not stir the glass with a straw :-)) Many thanks to the nice waiter, he saw the mishap and was there right away, but otherwise it was also very tasty ;-) Clear recommendation.

He is a very picturesque and typical place. Good German food. Very good experience altogether.

Delicious beer from the house brewery, friendly service and kitchen 4/5 stars. Child-friendly and during Corona an excellent hygiene concept with partial room dividers. It's a shame that the restaurants are now being closed again. Still 5 stars of loyalty and confidence!

Very nice brewery with a large outdoor area and a great view of Schwetzingen Castle and the forecourt. Very good beers and extensive menu. The service is friendly, quick and very courteous. The prices are absolutely okay. Highly Recommended!

Beer and food always very tasty. It's nice to sit outside with a view of the castle. Mostly stayed here in summer.

Exemplarily equipped for corona. From leading to the tables, via the toilet, even the menu was disinfected. I was really satisfied and carefree there. But the food and beer was excellent, the service was very friendly and fast. My chanterelle dish tasted great and the potato salad on my husband's dish tasted just like grandma's

It started with a positive impression and ended with a neutral impression. Everything was okay, but somehow nothing special. The reservation on the website worked without any problems, I found the reservation confirmation very personal and friendly. When we arrived on site, we unfortunately had to wait a bit until we were served. The drinks and the food (for three people) came relatively quickly, but not at the same time. The food was good, but also a bit tasteless. I have definitely eaten better in a brewery at a cheaper price. When we wanted to pay, it felt like it took forever to be noticed. Unfortunately, the service staff didn't speak German well either, so that communication worked, but it was a bit exhausting.

We were there again. Now at the Corona time. The beer was delicious as always! ? The tarte flambée 'classic' was a bit dry this time. The tagliatelle with chanterelles was unfortunately a bit neutral in taste.

It's "American week" but they refuse to bring you tap water to drink. Instead they want you to pay five euros for water that has come from a spring miles away, put into a plastic bottle and then put into a truck burning fossil fuels to bring here. Environmental disaster. Learn from the Americans - bring tap water with ice and lemon. Stop ripping off your customers and destroying the planet.

Very nice staff. Food and drinks well-kept. Everything was super clean, including toilets. A visit can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Classic historical brewery with own production of excellent beer. Very popular place with excellent beer selection and typical local dishes. Polite, professional and efficient staff.

The beer garden is cozy and has a direct view of Schwetzingen Castle. The inn has a nice ambience. The vaulted cellar in the basement is decorated with beautiful wall paintings. So go there for a meal. Prices are ok. Servings large enough to fill you up. The menu offers enough choice for every hunger / thirst. You cannot complain about the taste of both home-brewed beer and dishes.

Very nice, large and above all delicious restaurant. Great and nice service. We started with a wheat beer with pomegranate as an aperitif, followed by tarte flambée and snack bed. The main slope was a roast beef, which was to my point and of very good quality. The end was a warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The beer menu offers a great selection. All in all a very nice and round evening.

The food is very good, service is also good and they make a black beer that is one of my favorites. Every time that i go to the Schloss i stop by and drink a beer and eat something. I recommend it.

Great local brewery with local and typical German food. Has plenty of space for bigger groups and a patio in front of the Schwetzingen castle.

2019 - 8: central contact point Right in the pedestrian area, right on the Main entrance to the castle. Beautiful large beer garden, modern furnishings (bright chairs, granite table top, white parasols). Friendly staff, delicious food, large portion, fast service. Inside very huge! Several rooms, halls, drinking hall. Clean and large toilet facility. We will be back.

Nice atmosphere - we sat outside on a beautiful balmy evening. Fresh salad and very good bratwurst. Asparagus delicious. Excellent beer and strawberries and ice cream fresh and tasty!

Amazing handcrafted beer. If you are lucky and visit during "Asparagus Season" you won't regret it. Please ask for the plate with hollandese sauce., You will be amazed.

Super store. Delicious food. The prices are fully okay. Parking technically you have to look for something, but it's worth it. The beer is delicious. Especially the white knight did it to me as a wheat drinker really. But even the blonde knight (Pils) is delicious and recommended. We will come back in any case.

The Argentiem was too big and bloody although I ordered medium well. The schintsel also not good but the rest we tested were nice. Bears are especially delicious...
